Member of the Advisory Board of SDA Bocconi School of Management, the graduate business school of Bocconi University, a Milan-based top-ranking private university in the fields of business, management, economics and finance.

Member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for European Analysis and Policy of LUISS, a Rome-based top-ranking private university, specialised in Social Sciences.

Since 2006, Ornella has been a Board member of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Wholesalers (IFPW), a global association supporting and representing the majority of stakeholders in the pharmaceutical distribution industry. She held the office of Chairwoman of the IFPW between 2014 and 2016 and from 2021 to 2023.

Ornella served on the Board of Directors of Cencora for over ten years, from January 2015 to May 2025. Cencora is a leading pharmaceutical solutions organization centered on improving the lives of people and animals around the world, of which WBA is a strategic partner.

Between 2003 and 2009, Ornella held the office of President of the Association of Pharmaceutical Wholesalers in Italy (ADF), of which she is currently past president and vice president.
